Fiber Academy of Certified Trainers – FACT
In addition to our broad product portfolio, HUBER+SUHNER also offer LiSA Software so that our customers have complete visibility of their network either on-site or remotely. This graphical interface which is tailored specifically to our LiSA products, mean that planners can see the status of all network connections whether reserved, planned or active simply by clicking the on-screen port itself.
A far cry from complex spread-sheets and fiber records; the LiSA software uses graphical representations of Cities, Buildings, Floor-plans and Racks so that planners can zoom-in and interrogate specific areas in the shortest possible time frame. This combination of purpose-made software and hardware allows our customers to design, build and maintain efficient and cost-effective Data Centers which will achieve their critical business objectives.
Fiber Academy of Certified Trainers – FACT
Training is very important to the success of a data center and although our product designs are focused on «ease of install», we also understand the concerns in moving away from copper to a «fiber optic» based network.
HUBER+SUHNER provides many levels of training either on-site or within customers own premises and we will tailor our training to suit the individual needs and skill sets of our clients. Certified installer programmes can also be facilitated for those companies wishing to represent the HUBER+SUHNER qualitybrand.
Layout Engineering
HUBER+SUHNER offer extensive planning of optical distribution rack configurations, cabling concepts and cable ducting. When we receive floor plans and connection requirements, we can produce detailed schematics using library building blocks and CAD layouts. In doing so, our aim is to produce the most economical and future-proofed structure of fiber optic networks so that no unnecessary cross-routing occurs. Such a system design saves cost and time during Moves, Adds and Changes (MAC’s). Our offer contains all required information such as part lists, suitable cable and PatchCord lengths, detailed rack configurations and fiber containment layouts.
Application Engineering
HUBER+SUHNER will tailor-make products to suit individual requirements and our experienced in-house development team ensure that time to market is not compromised by complex engineering constraints. This corporate philosophy has helped us to fine-tune our products so that they are optimised specifically for the data center market. Product prototypes can be designed and supplied within very short timescales and often this allows our customers to field trial solutions prior to complete network integration. An example of how our engineering service adds value to our customers can be seen in our MASTERLINE solutions for blade servers. Here we can produce factory tested products that connect seamlessly to third party equipment irrespective of type, orientation and density.
