Fiber Containment

The cable ducting system guarantees a secure and stress-free fiber management channel between different FO distribution points.
All components have compatible ducting accessories (tees, elbows, crosses etc.) to ensure a minimum bend radius of 30 mm. Covers are available for all individual components to protect cables from getting damaged and flexible tubes and vertical drops provide access to termination units in racks. A range of components are available, enabling the system to be easily installed in both, raised floor or overhead applications.

Lateral support & bend-radius protection

Unlike conventional cable baskets and ladders, the LiSA ducting system offers lateral support along the complete fiber length. This reduces the risk of macro-bending and micro-bending of the individual cables.
A minimum bend-radius of 30mm is guaranteed with all inter-connecting components such as cross-pieces, tees and elbows. Bend-radius features also simplify and ensure the safe installation of cables when pulled through the duct.

Various sizes & colours

The LiSA duct is available in a range of sizes from 30mm up to 300mm depending on application, capacity requirements and future expansion.100mm and 300mm are generally used for backbone links, whilst 30mm and 50mm are better suited for in-rack applications.

To allow for clearer identification of diverse routes, the ducting is available in orange or yellow.  Alternatively copper cabling can be routed through a different colour from the fiber route. Yellow is the standard colour and the most widely available.

Easy installation

LiSA ducting can be connected with either slotted or slotless joiners.  Slotless joiners require no on-site preparation work but they do not provide the same degree of stability as the slotted type. All inter-connecting components are supplied with pre-cut slots and for straight duct lengths a simple slotting tool can be used.

Universal mounting

A wide range of brackets and clips can be used to fix the ducting along its length.  The plastic type allows simple snap-fit mounting whilst steel c-brackets slide along the ribbed outer edge of the duct.
In combination with standard Uni-strut type rails, the duct can be mounted to ceilings or floors with simplicity and flexibility.
