MTP® Ruggedised Fanouts

The MTP® ruggedised fan-out allows connection from an MTP® jumper or MASTERLINE cable direct to equipment ports. The fan-out can be customised so that the tail length is matched to the particular equipment. The integrated mounting slot will facilitate easy fixation of the fan-out either under equipment or to one side depending on the orientation of the equipment ports.

Alternatively the MTP® fan-out can be connected directly from optical distribution racks to equipment ports. This approach reduces the amount of connections between racks but limits flexibility and scalability. In this application a female MTP® connector should be used.
